PORTALS came out at a very turning point in my life and I needed it so much. I was going through so much insecurity and my dad had died just 2 months after its release and it healed me so much

i know a lot of people don’t like this album and that’s cool and whatnot but for me it’s not just the songs themselves but the whole album as a concept itself. I know a lot of people also didn’t like the creature look but I absolutely loved it. Portals allowed me to escape me into a whole new dimension and it took me out of all the things I was feeling

songs like Death, Void, Faeire soirée, Leeches, Evil, and Nymphology were such magical songs and honestly this is why I love Melani. Her music it’s just fun sounds and fun lyrics, it’s about the magic she brings and the emotions that are conveyed through them. Faerie Soirée and NYMPHOLOGY allowe me to feel magical and escape into a new world while Void, Death, Evil, and Leeches matches the feelings I was dealing with.

Overall, I am so thankful for this album and Melanie’s art in general. Hades is now my favorite piece of art since it reflects the world and the whole album itself is so magical too.I love Melanie so much and she is the only artist that makes me feel like I’m in a whole new world when I listen to her music. I can’t wait for MM5 and see what she has stored for us ❤️❤️❤️

When Melanie first announced the Hades/Sacrifice tour ,I was really excited since HADES is now one of my favorite albums . When looking at the tour further, I noticed that she was doing Arena’s for the tour which already had me worried. I know melanie is considered a mainstream artists but I don’t think she‘s like Sabrina or Lana mainstream . I’m worried for the tour because I think Melanie shouodve done smaller venues like she did for the Portals tour since 1. the only reason the trilogy tour sold out was because she was going to perform songs off of the Cryababy and k-12 albums and 2. The feedback for Hades was similar to that of Portals

HADES is not popular enough to have an Arena tour of its own and I fear that the tour could be in danger of being cancelled. I already bought tickets for me and sister to go but now that I’m actually thinking about it, I’m scared for the tour being cancelled because Hades is my favorite album and I would kill to see it live but I think doing an Arena Tour for Hades is overkill
