[Why do people belive Malfoy was good]
I have read the whole book series multiple times ,like many times,and I have seen that Malfoy was not a good character,even as per dobby he was a bad master and I feel like just because the actor tom felton did a great job at acting and connecting with the potterhead community that people started to belive that he needed a redemption arc
Even when the trio was caught by snatchers and taken to the Malfoy manor he did not try to help them he was just hesitating and that does not mean he wanted to help harry or the right side ,he still sided with them till the end
He was a bad master to dobby (saying this because I see a lot of videos on yt with generated images where dobby played with him,which is totally opposite to what dobby described about the malfoys and draco)
Even though he might've had to do such things due to family pressure, he still hated Hermione for being a mudblood and that just negates the idea of him being good .You don't need a reason to go down the right path
Not just the dobby part but there are many points backing this up and pointing that out would like to take many many many paragraphs and assuming that most of the people will have read the books, they know what I mean I did not point that out
And this was just my own opinion,I have always wanted to ask that .
