Hey teachers, uni student and "founder" here, wanted to get your honest input
This started as tooling I built for myself in first year. Shared it with a few friends, then coursemates started asking to use it, and somewhere along the way it became a real thing I'm now actually pursuing.
I alseo used to tutor, from about grade eleven to second year (too caught up now)
One thing I picked up is that every student has their own cognitive language, and the job is finding the gaps in their understanding. The moments they hesitate, the concepts they breeze through. Ended up adding that to the tooling. The software tracks those patterns with some maths and builds a personalised mastery plan around exactly what each student struggles with, if need be, theres a genAI layer to speak directly to your cognitive language
I know you already know your students better than any software ever will. But 30-50 kids is 30-50 different people and time is finite.
What would actually make your life easier? Not the pitch-deck answer, the real friction. The thing that eats your time or energy that nobody's solving.
Would love to hear it, even if the answer is "nothing, leave us alone" - that's useful too.
I will not mention software name or company name anywhere in this post or comments, I want to hear frrom YOU
