Advice for frontside stall to fakie

Does anyone have advice for dropping back into fakie from a frontside stall without relying on the toe stop?

Out of habit I always put my toe stop down when I go back in. When I try to keep my foot flat, I feel like I can’t fully commit my weight into my back heel, so I end up slipping or falling. I can jump off the ramp right near the coping into fakie and roll back totally fine. But from an actual frontside stall, I suddenly can’t get my foot flat or get my weight distribution right.

Has anyone else dealt with this habit? Any drills or mental cues that helped you break it?

Note: I’ve only been skating for two months 😔 my form not great
