Hello, I was recently diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer. I am 37 years old with a 5 year old daughter.

I found out about a week and a half ago. It looks like it’s stage 2, but I just got a MRI, so I know things can change. This past week and a half have been extremely difficult mentally. I started out in disbelief, which turned to being scared, then sad, and now I’m just mad. I am ready to start fighting this thing. I am still in the beginning stages of more testing and finalizing our treatment plans. Does this get easier once treatment starts? I am somebody who needs a game plan and I’m ready to get into my “new normal,” at least for the next few months while I do chemotherapy and immunotherapy.

Any encouragement is welcomed!
