My girl Jude is going to be 9 years old this June and she has always lived on vinyl flooring. I know there is a lot of discourse with bioactive tanks, but as she’s getting older, I want to make half of her space bioactive. She seems so bored these days, any suggestions how to do it?
I’ve always been afraid to use substrate in her tank for fear of impaction….I am 85% she will not eat the sand as she is almost 9 😭 I want to attempt to keep a vinyl area to put her salads so she can eat without accidentally eating substrate.
(she’s currently in a zen-habitat 4x2x2)
Any suggestions or concerns welcome! (except about her weight lmao pls do not fat shame Jude, she is on a diet and ik she’s a big girl 🤣)
