I attended a session at a local film festival this past weekend and left during the sixth film because films 3, 4, and 6 were clearly generated by AI. I haven’t been to many festivals yet, but I’m wondering if AI-generated films are becoming an accepted thing. I find it curious that festivals wouldn’t at least flag those films as being AI-generated or, even better, shown in their own session apart from real films.
