Is it just me?

I don't have my 12 anymore, but I do miss when I could switch the ringer back and forth and get that satisfying click/vibration when I was bored. Am I the only one who does this? I only found myself doing this in the last 2 or so months before upgrading to my 17 Pro which doesn't have the ringer switch.

I sure do miss when apple would release a new color for the models around march/April. They never really did it with the Pros except for the 13 Pro with that gorgeous Alpine Green and the regular green for the base 13. Then the yellow for the 14/14 Plus. But since then we havent gotten any new colors even for the base models. I thought that maybe with Apple only releasing 3 color options for the Pros this year that maybe there was room for a new color after a few months... yeah I doubt that is happening now. However, if Apple was to bring a new color to the 17 Pros, what would you want to see? Personally, I'd like to see another Alpine Green or even the Sierra blue (can you tell I love the 13 Pros lol?)

This is the Thinborne case for the iPhone 17 Pro (I got the crimson color to go with my silver 17 Pro). It's super thin and lightweight and I forgot I even had a case on lol. The case is made of aramid fiber which is why it is so lightweight. Even though it is so thin, it is still MagSafe compatible which I love. The buttons aren't covered, which makes me a little nervous, but this case isn't meant for extreme conditions and is not for drop protection. Overall, this is an amazing case for people who want a thin case that looks good.

oh, and it also came with camera lens/plateau protectors and a screen protector. (I didn't use the screen protector since I already had a screen protector on)

Here is what I have, I have pretty much the whole ecosystem, minus a few things:

Silver 256gb iPhone 17 Pro

Blue 64gb M1 iPad Air

AirPods Pro (1st Gen)

Silver 256gb M4 MacBook Air

Jet Black 46mm Apple Watch Series 10

512gb M4 Mac Mini

and some of my older devices that I still have include:

Black 128gb iPhone 12

Space Gray 32gb iPod touch (7th Gen)

Space Gray 16gb iPad Air (1st Gen)

Space Gray 40mm Apple Watch SE (1st Gen)

Space Gray Late 2016 MacBook Pro

Space Gray 64gb iPhone 8 Plus

I'm just curious to see what y'all have paired with your 17 Pros in the apple ecosystem and if it is similar to mine or not.

Ever since I got my 17 Pro in September, I've been going back and forth whether or not the camera plateau should be covered or not. 3/6 cases I have cover the plateau.

I like cases that cover the plateau because it gives me peace of mind that it is safe, however, it looks so much better without the cover over it.

I was wondering if anyone has had problems/damage to their phones as a result of not covering the plateau? I know the camera wouldn't be the issue, but to the right of the cameras I was wondering about durability there.

I (as do most everyone in my family) have Pro iPhones, but not Pro Max.

Most of the reason is because the screen is too large. More recently, I've been holding the Pro Max phones in the Apple Store and they don't seem that bad. I currently have the 17 Pro.

So what is the reason anyone with the Pro Max opts for the Pro Max?

Better carrier deal? Bigger Screen? Better Battery? What your used to? Price? ect.

I'm curious to see what y'all say-- and even for what "Pro" users have to say on why they didn't go for the larger, Pro Max.

Pretty much every iPhone, and any phone for that matter has an AOD now. Do y'all actually use it?

I had mine on for the first week but found it distracting so I turned it off. Its been over 7 months now and never thought about turning it back on... what about y'all?

Does anyone have any cool ideas or ways to use the action button? I had it set to launch instagram for a while since I like to doomscroll, I've also tried the song recognition as well as flashlight but I feel like there is a better use case. Does anyone have any cool shortcuts or use cases for it?
