Basic question on Karuppu movie.
If the financier wants his debt settled, isn’t in their best interest to release the movie so that the producer can get some income to pay the debt?

How does blocking the movie release help the producer pay back their debt?

This is not just for Karuppu. Movies like Dhruva Natchathiram also falls under the same bucket. Let the movie release, let the financier take the first dib at the revenue, debt gets paid (if not full at-least some).

Better for everyone. Right? What am I missing?
