How bad is my foundation?
Built in 1906. Was that layer that you see cracking built to hide the foundation or is it part of the foundation? Does this need to be urgently fixed?

Is this red oak? What size? What color was it stained with?
I need to temporarily cover these pipes. I bought the fernco flexible caps (4" and 2") but the caps are too small for the pipes. I didn't find a size slightly bigger that would fit. Are they supposed to be really hard to install around the pipes? Did I buy the wrong caps?
