My Daytona 675 2016 STD has been facing electrical issues since quite sometime. The rear light and indicators function properly and when once the bike used to get heated then these both used to stop functioning for a couple of weeks…until someday it gets heated up again and everything of rear light and indicator starts to function correctly.
Coming to today’s situation……my started motor was messed up and I got it repaired
(P.s I have been having a Exide battery for 4-6 years now. I changed to new Exide 6 months back. I know it’s not advised but I have been using)
Fortunately after fixing the mixing my mech for some reason put a spare yuvasa kept at his garage to my bike and my bike was starting crisp fine since 2-3 days until today when I went to put my actual battery of Exide on so that I return him his spare yuvasa. As soon as I installed Exide one…there was kirr kirr sound and the display was going off and that’s the moment is repaired that I have been using the wrong battery since ever.
I right away changed to his yuvasa and started the bike 5-6 times and it took damn good starts. And I tuned off for 10 mins and after that I was about to leave and the bike isn’t starting….the fuel pump isn’t turning on but the speedometer is working fine.
We thought the yuvasa battery went down(bcoz it’s a very old one and the person who charged the yuvasa said this battery is not charging well) and for this what we did now was jump start with another battery…still the bike didn’t start.
The engine management light is turned on when the kill switch is being tuned on…I can hear a slight noise of ignition turning on(not as loud sound as I used to hear before) but still the bike isn’t starting.
Checked fuses and one fuse had gone we replaced but the bike isn’t starting.
I genuinely need your help Triumph fam…especially Daytona owners.
I am going through anxiety for this one and not able to know if there’s the ecu thing which happens to my bike or what is it exactly.
I would really appreciate all that you guys could help.
