Spirited Away capsule collection wallet melting inner lining
Huge fan of the Ghibli collections and got this wallet back in 2022, been noticing that there’s been a steady deterioration of the credit card slots with what looks to be black sticky/flaky residue that sticks onto my cards and can only be cleaned off with a alcohol wipe. Upon examination it looks like the black inner lining (which I suspect is not leather but some PU lining) is also staining the yellow calf leather.
Any advice if this is normal for Loewe wallets and if there’s any possibility of getting the wallet lining restored? This is my first Loewe wallet and I hope to continue using this for many more years to come (the duck face brings me so much joy).
P.S on the other hand, my Kaonashi hammock bag from the same collection and a wristlet from the Howls collection is holding up really well
