I recently moved and my pantry is 47 inches wide and it cant be changed. I bought a 29in pax unit to replace the shelves. My plan had been to get the mid unit add on which is 13 inches and would leave around 4-6 inches of space and I was just going to use it as ladder storage. But then I thought maybe I could get a 19 inch unit and cut it down an inch. I know the back piece is already attached and you fold it apart and put in the braces. But has anyone tried this? And i know i wont be able to use drawers. Im fine with just shelves, and trimming those too.

I got frankie, 8mo old female cat, back in November when she was probably about 2 months old and have had her since. She does not like it when I shower, she meows and tries to get in the whole time. I know its probably anxiety but I try and keep the curtain open so she can see me. Anyways, I recently moved into a new house and shes started trying to climb the wall, I assume to get closer to me, and her claws are damaging the wall. Im hoping to figure out an option that isnt just locking her out of the bathroom. Thanks in advance.
