Hi everyone! (23, male) here. I started lifting at September 2025, strictly at home with dumbbells. Ever since and without fail, my routine would be 4 times a week, alternating bicep & shoulder then tricep & chest. I would always end each workout with 3 sets of 1 minute planks. Additionally, I play tennis 2-3 times a week (2-4hrs).
I started with 15lbs dumbbells. Then by January, I have upgraded to 20lbs dumbbells. I was 69kg back in September, now I range from 63.5-65.5kg depending on the activity for the day.
My friends have been suggesting I either take whey protein or creatine. I just do not know what to take since I’d preferably want to stay within 60-65kg while still gaining more muscle like being lean or ripped and not too buff since I think it doesn’t fit me.
