Draw this with colored pencil and yea this looks kinda questionable for me. Any feedback how l could do it better? This is for birthday gift

References: I used a photo of Van Gogh Portrait as reference. The exact painting is „Self-Portrait with a Straw Hat" painted by Vincent van Gogh in 1887 during his time in Paris.
• Goals: This is not just a birthday gift, but also a practice for me to try van Gogh style especially the same as his Portrait mentioned since l like the way he draw the lines overall on the drawing.
• Critique Wanted: Since I’m new to colored pencils, I’m looking for advice on layering and depth. As you can see l use yellow as first layer so it looks very yellowish for me. Any tips which color l can use for skin?
