Wanna be cyclist!
Hi! I’m Lea, and I want to be a cyclist! While I have a bike, I’ve been riding an Electra Vale Go bike for a few years , and have covered a lot of ground- with and without the e-assist. However, I feel like I want to truly learn to cycle and have a lot of FoMo when I see all the true cyclists out there. I am 46 so I’m a late starter!
I’d like to find a starter bike that works well for both paved road and gravel rails to trails and hills! Here in Nova Scotia, there are plenty of hills 😬 and my current bike is just to dang heavy for most hills without some assistance.
I’ve done a lot of research and well, I feel overwhelmed. I just want to get started on something entry level as I’ve seen some women’s groups that are geared to new cyclists and want to join! As well, I’d like to try a piccolo bike race in the fall. Am I dreaming too big? Haha
I was thinking of the Liv AR 4- and trying to find used.
