Looking for some "sanity check" advice from UK owners — what’s your biggest admin bottleneck?

I’m a developer currently looking at starting a new project. I’ve noticed a lot of the software out there is either too bloated, geared for the US, or pushing "AI agents".
I’m keen to build something much simpler—a solid tool that just automates those repetitive, boring manual tasks that usually end up as a nightmare in an Excel sheet or hand notes.
I’m particularly looking for "un-sexy" UK-specific problems—things like specific compliance hurdles, HMRC-related manual work, or just a process you hate doing by hand every week because there isn't a simple app for it.
Before I get stuck into the code, I wanted to ask for some advice: what is the one part of your business admin that you absolutely dread because it’s so manual?
I’m not a student or a marketing agency—just a dev trying to make sure I’m solving a problem that actually exists before I build anything.
