hello! my partner is looking to come to the US in August, and while I acknowledge that this may be quite late, we didn't think to apply sooner for a visitor visa from Italy to the US because multiple sites (including the official US site) were saying that the wait times for an interview were less than 0.5 months, which is a few weeks. Once we did our DS160 application, it said that the earliest interview was december 2026. what happened here??? i'm confused as to why almost every site is saying that there is not that much of a wait time... but do you think it's even possible for an earlier interview ?? i have already tried multiple times at midnight Italian time, and also random times throughout the night but the earliest i found was november.
just looking for a sliver of hope.
