The device has a CPU temperature of 80°C at idle(!) with a room temperature of 22°C; this is a bad joke and certainly not healthy for the hardware.
I certainly don't want such a flawed design.
Is the fiber optic cable better in terms of temperature, and can you hear the fan? It's right next to my desk.
How long will such a fan last if it runs 24/7?
Active cooling is generally a no-go in a router; doesn't this company know the term "aluminum heat sink"?
