People who live on Long Island, would you prefer a bridge to New Haven (or Bridgeport or wherever) or would that be a nightmare?
Looks like it would be an excellent hurricane evacuation route but NIMBYs say no cause the view from their 20 million dollar homes needs to be Pristine. And that’s more important than evacuation routes apparently.
