People wonder why the Diamonds were forgiven so easily... but really, I'd ask why they changed so quickly.
So many thousands of years alive, and yet the Gempire fell in basically a single event. Steven convinced the Diamonds that all their beliefs were wrong not only quickly, but entirely. I'd have expected them to be a little more "southern parent accepting their gay kid" about the whole thing in the movie and Future.
Has anyone thought of an explanation? Is there a fic about the alternative?
