About me: (male) I am from Lucknow, from a middle-class family, with 74 percent in Class 12, and scored low in JEE Mains in my drop year due to some personal issues, and I want to join a private B.Tech college (Branch - ECE) ASAP in Lucknow.
Due to financial constraints (I am not rich, as I am coming from a middle-class family), I wouldn't be able to go to a good private B.Tech college in Delhi NCR/Bangalore, and when I searched online which private engineering college is best in Lucknow (I know private colleges are not good compared to government colleges, but what to do as I wouldn't get admission there due to low JEE Mains score), I got to know about Amity University Lucknow Campus, and I want to join this college only because I have no other options.
I heartfully request anyone who knows, has knowledge, knows somebody else studying right now, or itself studies in a B.Tech course, please guide me and give correct information about the admission thing. Also, I came to know about non-sponsored and sponsored seats. Is it the same thing as normal and management quota seats or something else?
Also, I would prefer a direct admission seat because now I don't have time to study for Amity Common Admission Test (AMCAT) (if I come to know from all your comments that AMCAT is mandatory to give, then I will give it). And also I came to know Amity conducts interviews. Is it mandatory? Is it offline or online, and what are the most common questions they ask, and what answers/common mistakes lead to rejection of the candidate?
Lastly, I say that I would be the happiest person and cheerfully thankful to you if anyone could just provide something about my query, admission process of this particular college, and help me in my career/life 🙏🙏.
Sorry for a little long post.
