VNIT ECE vs IIITA ECE (pls read text below)
Not preparing seriously for Advanced, so IITs are out of the picture.
Getting VNIT ECE, which was my goal from the start.
VNIT's median package was ~13 LPA (2023), while IIIT-A's was ~23 LPA.
Even then, I feel VNIT suits me better overall.
VNIT is my home-state NIT, so it gives more of a comfortable/home-like feeling.
Not very package-oriented; more interested in ECE core than tech placements.
IIIT-A has stronger placements, but I've heard the environment is very competitive.
One doubt: is IIIT-A's higher ECE package mainly because many students go for coding/tech placements?
I'm not planning to go for coding-related jobs.
Please only people with good real life info abt the college give advices
