Edit: the problem has been solved now, thanks to u/thatsgGBruh for all the help (and sorry for all the time it took out of your day)

I recently installed Zorin OS (version 18.1 Core) on my laptop (HP ProBook x360 11 G5 EE) because Windows was taking up too much storage space, and I haven't been able to get so much as a whisper out of it. I can't switch back because the USB drive I had used died nearly immediately after I was done. I've tried the Zorin sound tutorial and got stuck because the software can't locate my internal speakers OR my 3.5mm jack. I've tried as many things as my could find with my own research and nothing has worked. It's as if my device is completely non-capable of sound. Does anyone know how I can fix this?
