I read that up to half of people stop GLP-1s within a year, and I'm honestly just trying to figure out how people manage to stay on them long enough to get the real benefits

I've been on Mounjaro for about 8 months now, and I love what it's done for my health. But I completely understand why people stop, because the side effects can be rough and the cost is no joke. Some real-world data presented at AMCP 2026 looked at over 53,000 patients and found that persistence dropped from 65% at 120 days down to only 34% at one year. how did you make it through the tough periods where you wanted to quit? Was it mostly about having good insurance coverage, or did you find ways to manage the side effects that made it sustainable? I feel like I'm at risk of dropping out if I hit another rough patch with side effects, and I'm trying to figure out how to stay the course.

Does BAC water quality actually matter?

might be a dumb question but looking into everything and realized not every place even carries BAC water, and then I see it sold all over the place from random brands in amazon and ebay. now I’m wondering if that’s something you actually have to be picky about or if it’s all basically the same as long as it’s labeled right like is this one of those things where quality/sterility can vary a lot or am I just overthinking it? I’m new to this space so any help would be appreciated

I have PCOS and my periods stopped for 2 years but then they returned 3 months after starting Mounjaro

I have PCOS with insulin resistance. I haven't had a natural period in 2 years. My reproductive endocrinologist had me on progesterone to induce withdrawal bleeds. I started Mounjaro for weight loss. Within 3 months, I had my first natural period in 2 years. Now I've had 4 regular cycles in a row.

My RE said this is happening more and more. GLP-1s improve ovulation in PCOS, possibly through direct ovarian effects plus weight loss. I'm not trying to conceive yet. But knowing my cycles are regular gives me hope for the future.

I’ll be traveling with my sister, but she also has online work she can’t completely step away from. I don’t expect to be helpless, but I also don’t want to put pressure on her if I end up needing more support than I thought. What kind of help typically would be needed after the surgery, and its first few weeks?

I’m asking just to get a general idea of what people do to deal with this situation since I am at the cusp of hitting my goal weight. Specifically, I’m down 65lbs on Mounjaro 10mg, my BMI went from 38 to 24. What really gets to me though is that according to basically everything I've read, they say the weight comes back if you stop. I can't afford to stay on this forever (insurance is already fighting me). But I also can't face regaining everything I worked for. I'm trying to make a plan but feel like I'm flying blind with no data.
