Pioneer woodlands T1 reviews pls

reading mixed reviews about pioneer woodlands

Looking at a unit there (Tower1 , 23F) cause affordable for a 2br. The living room is spacious enough altho bedrooms are pretty small. I also like the easy access to MRT & SM light.

Specifically what its like
- ipis wise? Is there an infestation or depends on the unit? I heard wala naman daw basura sa mismong floor so dapat less?
-ventilation in the rooms and noise control? When I visited, wala naman maingay. Not sure if nataon lang or walls are more sound proof. Also wala ako narinig ingay from edsa
- totoo bang bawal magiwan ng parcels from shopee sa reception etc?
- ok naman elevators?
- I use Globe/Smart/DITTO (ok naman wifi or data?) altho plan to go back and test it myself

- Overall, what did you like and hate about living there? Are there building issues I should know about?

INTRADUCTAL CARCINOMA - Confused about Staging

**33F here confused if I have pre-cancer or cancer.....**Initially diagnosed with Ductal carcinoma in situ (DCIS) Stage 0 from initial vacuum biopsy which removed the whole tumor (1.2 cm). Subsequently underwent mastectomy based on MRI and biopsy says "INTRADUCTAL CARCINOMA, SOLID AND COMEDO PATTERNS (1 CM AGGREGATE BREADTH)"

Soo....

I was rereading my biopsy tonight and uploaded it to Claude AI.
Basically Claude made me realize that the phrasing of my biopsy post mastectomy which says "Intraductal" = cancer was found WITHIN the ducts, meaning DCIS.

But my doctor staged me at Stage 1. All this time my understanding was that my cancer already broke out of the ducts hence Stage 1....The doctor also had me take a breast panel and results came out as ER+/PR+/HER -

Question: Am I correct in my understanding that my mastectomy biopsy found cancer "WITHIN" the ducts? Can DCIS in multiple sites be staged beyond Stage 0? Or is it stage 1 cause it's the Comedo type, which I read is the more aggressive kind of DCIS?

I mean, I am elated with the news that apparently I may have misunderstood (?) and the cancer was in fact just within the ducts....but am SOOO confused at my actual diagnosis. Will go back to my doctor but since appointment is still around a week from now, maybe you can share some of your feedback and inputs based on your own experience/what you know.
Thank you!

Biopsy results:
(1) Initial Vacuum Excision Biopsy (pre-mastectomy/pre-surgery):

Diagnosis:
Breast Tissue, Left, Ultrasound-guided Vacuum-assisted Biopsy:
- INTERMEDIATE NUCLEAR GRADE DUCTAL CARCINOMA IN-SITU IN COMEDO AND SOLID PATTERNS.
- DUCTAL CARCINOMA IN-SITU MEASURES 1.2 CM. IN GREATEST CONTIGUOUS MICROSCOPIC DIMENSION IN THIS LIMITED BIOPSY SAMPLE.
- NECROSIS: PRESENT (CENTRAL TYPE).
- CALCIFICATIONS: PRESENT IN DUCTAL CARCINOMA IN-SITU.
- LYMPHOVASCULAR INVASION: NOT IDENTIFIED.
- NO INVASIVE COMPONENT IDENTIFIED
- TUMOR PRESENT IN FOUR (4) OF SIX (6) CORES.
- OTHER FINDINGS:
> FIBROCYSTIC CHANGE WITH APOCRINE METAPLASIA AND USUAL DUCTAL
> BENIGN SKELETAL MUSCLE.

(2) Mastectomy Final Biopsy
Frozen Section and Final Histopathologic Diagnosis:
INTRADUCTAL CARCINOMA, SOLID AND COMEDO PATTERNS (1 CM AGGREGATE BREADTH), BREAST.
RESECTION PLANES ARE NEGATIVE FOR TUMOR.
FIBROCYSTIC DISEASE AND ADENOSIS, WITH CHRONIC MASTITIS, NON-SPECIFIC, BACKGROUND.
ALL THREE (3) SENTINEL LYMPH NODES, ARE NEGATIVE FOR TUMOR.
SPECIMEN "LEFT NIPPLE", NEGATIVE FOR TUMOR.
Pathologic Description:
The first specimen is received for Frozen section evaluation. It consists of four tissues, as follows:
Sentinel Lymph Node (SLN) 1 - tan to green, ovoid, doughy tissue measuring 0.76 x 0.5 x 0.4 cm;
SLN 2 - deep green, ovoid, doughy tissue measuring 0.8 x 0.8 x 0.4 cm;
SLN 3 - ovoid, deep green, doughy tissue, measuring 0.5 x 0.5 x 0.3 cm; and
"Left nipple - irregular, green and black tissue measuring 1.7 x 0.5 x 0.3 cm.

The second specimen labeled "left breast mass" consists of an unoriented, fleshy, yellow, well-circumscribed segment of fatty tissue measuring 13.2 x 10.7 x 1.5 cm. The anterior surface is inked blue. Cut sections show cream-white, fibrous surfaces. There is a slightly fleshy, irregular area measuring 1.8 x 1.8 × 1.2 cm, located 0.1, 0.1 and 0.2 cm from the nearest anterior, posterior and peripheral margins, respectively. Further sections show gray-white, fibrous
A1-A2. Irregular Breast Area with Anterior (Green) and Posterior (Black) Margins. Block 2 (2).

How's you actual Pacific Cross vs Global Health Access experience?

Hey! Im currently shopping around for medical insurance.

I was able to get CI plans prior but unfortunately will be filing claim with them this year (early 30s, diagnosed with early breast CA). My icare HMO (MBL: 350K) is already almost fully utilized.

My cancer is fortunately early stage and now that I'm mostly done with treatment (surgery),I plan to apply with either Pacific Cross or AXA (GHA) and will be declaring my PEC. I am familiar with how Pacific Cross works such that it charges premium loading for PEC if I want them covered from Year 2 onwards, AXA not familiar yet. My thinking is even if cancer will be excluded, at least I can build a fund for other illnesses in the future, knock on wood.

For actual clients**

  1. Can you share actual utilization or reimbursement experience with Pacific Cross and AXA GHA? Madali ba kausap? Mabilis approval/crediting and follows standard turnaround? Ano naging sakit/confinement or procedure?

  2. As for HMO network (particularly for doctors), madami ba doctors? I cant find my doctors in the Pacific cross list so I feel like their network is not as extensive as typical HMOs like Maxicare, Icare.... So probably reimbursement will be the go-to.

  3. A question on Professional fees: HMOs typically pay based on Philhealth RVS, is it the same for Pacific Cross/AXA GHA?

**I checked recent posts on Pacific Cross, a lot of comments/replies from newly created accounts with little karma.....

Thanks!

where to park funds for higher return (short term horizon)

Hello!

I want to park some extra liquidity in short term funds (6 mos - 1.5 years) that pay more than digital banks. I already have emergency fund, PH stocks, and currently doing cost averaging in IBKR.

Do I have other options? I prefer not to add more to my current IBKR deposits cause of forex and to help manage my investment risks.

Hi 33F I posted here a while back sharing my accidental discovery/diagnosis of breast cancer after a vacuum biopsy. Yes, let this post serve as an another reminder to do self breast exams and to go visit an OB annually even if no symptoms. May nakapa lang ako which I got checked and ang bilis na ng mga pangyayari. I just had my surgery and now recovering but researching options / trying to mentally prepare for next steps.

I was initially Stage 0 but after biopsy I've just been upgraded to Stage 1. Still good overall since its localized in the breast but because of the revised staging I may need chemo/targeted therapy depending on further test results.

Just checking if any of you have availed the Philhealth Z benefits (NCR) and where? How was your experience? Any tips for me? I understand I need to get assessed by an accredited doctor in an accredited institution first if ever.

I'm eyeing PGH and Cardinal Santos due to location. Was Philhealth able to cover significant portion of the costs? Also any other tips on where else to ask for financial assistance? The targeted therapy costs specifically are scary, going by my research parang 1 million at least.....

Thank you! :)

33F Birads 3 ultrasound Dec 2025 (with calcification)
Vacuum biopsy > DCIS stage 0
MRI and Mammogram showed diffuse nonmass enhancement and loosely grouped calcifications, leading to Mastectomy recommendation
Finally had Mastectomy + Lat Flap reconstruction around 10 days ago
Now recovering with 1 drain remaining, reconstructed breast feels numb and swollen with ocassional stinging
Got my biopsy result and was upstaged to Stage 1 intraductal carcinoma , with 1 cm aggregrate spread
No nipple no lymph node involvement as per biopsy

Basically it has been a hectic whirlwind since I got my life-changing DCIS diagnosis 2 mos ago. Its been unending logistics of researching and seeing doctors, getting all these tests done, basically just doing the next step. Im still working (thankfully WFH) and trying to adjust to my new reality but it feels like my world has been reduced to managing this diagnosis like some project.

Yesterday I read my biopsy first before seeing my oncologist. I really thought im ok already since it all said “negative” only to be told that it was unfortunately intraductal and thus I am upstaged to Stage 1. We were only previously talking about radiation (the one I mentally prepped for…) but now we’re talking breast panel test with HER and potential 6 rounds of chemo….

Reading that biopsy felt like being given a gift… only to be taken away after being told what it really means. Now 2-3 weeks of waiting till breast panel results. This is what it feels like to have your world stop for a second time. I thought I’m already better at reframing getting cancer but Im not. I was really hoping that there will be no further treatmentafter mastectomy except for tamoxifen so I can kinda go back to normal life soon…

Before this diagnosis I was a pretty avid gym goer. I went for lat flap recon following my doctor’s advice(good call cause my skin turned out to be very thin) and I was just trying to accept that I will may have to go on 6 mos hiatus from real lifting while recovering the 2 sites. And now Im told I may need chemo (been reading side effects and how it will induce menopause, which feels like another loss cause it makes my dream of becoming a mom feel more unreachable now)…. I hate how this thing keeps on taking things away from me.

For now we’re focusing o n treatmet but i will also be likely taking those multi gene panel tests soon and im scared of the results and what they will imply.

Im trying to see the silver lining that at least we caught it pretty early. :( any words for me or things i should know with respect to IDC stage 1 treatment/recovery? Would appreciate your personal stories about your treatment and how to live better from here on.

Thank you!
