A INDIAN STUDENT SEEKING CAREER ADVICE REQUIRED AND TELL ME HOW CAN I MAKE THE DECISION

I’m currently in Class 11 (CBSE, India) and want to study architecture abroad at a globally respected university, but I’m really confused about the different degree pathways. My parents prefer a direct professional B.Arch degree, while many top universities in countries like the UK, Australia, and Singapore offer BA/BSc Architecture followed by an M.Arch instead. From what I understand, both pathways can eventually lead to becoming a licensed architect, but the structures are different. I’m mainly looking for English-taught programs with strong global reputation and good career prospects. Right now my shortlist includes Cornell, Cooper Union, Pratt, Syracuse, and Virginia Tech for direct B.Arch programs, but I’m also considering schools like UCL Bartlett, NUS, and RMIT even though they follow the bachelor + master route. I’d really appreciate advice on whether a direct B.Arch is actually better professionally, how much the degree title matters compared to portfolio/experience, and which pathway makes more sense overall for an international student from India. my_qualifications
