Hi all, I'm doing av4 in sept. Day 1 I'm going to rif locatelli. I've provisionally booked accommodation in San candido but it's very expensive, so hoping to move somewhere else. I see

Dobbiaco is close but struggling to see if buses will run early enough on a Sunday to get me to the trail start by 9 ideally. Has anyone else stayed anywhere near by to the start that didn't cost a fortune?

I did look into a rif that's only a few Kms into the trail but it's booked up
