So I have been extremely frustrated at work, my job has a very heavy workload, often times I take work home just so I am not feeling overwhelmed. There are some other people that are in the same role. However their work load is much lighter, they have lots of down time to talk amongst themselves and other people in our department which is quite large. My boss has been telling me that he too has been frustrated with them talking and also leaving early. This is something I am not able to do, I told my boss that I feel I get treated differently (which I do). My boss was offended by this comment, however I thought I was speaking in confidence. People My boss has told the other 3 ladies about my frustration and now I am public enemy number 1, as they are well liked. Of course they are because they as they have all day to chat. Not sure how I can salvage the relationship, I honestly only care about one of the ladies as I have known her for many years and have worked well with her. Should I apologize or leave it be.
