New Bowling Ball Day. Oops, I mean, New Pen Day.
Four months ago, u/DIYYYner posted about the Asvine C80 Purple Ripple. I commented that I had a bowling ball the same color and included a photo. DIYYYner, of course, replied that I should get one because she wanted to see how well they match.
Well, today I finally got one. A fellow member of a local pen club—and an all-around wonderful human being—gave me one. She got it for free and wasn't overly thrilled by it, so when I made a similar remark about wanting—needing?—one to match my bowling ball, she offered it to me.
The pen is amazing and already inked with Dominant Industry Tanzanite. Sadly, however, the pen does not match the ball as closely as I thought it would; the ball has a little more magenta in it than the pen. And while the finger holes in the bowling ball can function as a pen holder, it isn't very practical.
So, I won't be using the pen to score bowling frames… that's all done electronically now, anyway. But I'm thrilled to have the pen and look forward to getting to know it better.
