Hi, just wanted to make a post sharing my experiences this cycle. It was my first time applying, but im happy w how it turned out, and thought it adds a data point for those who come from research heavy backgrounds and are sophomores wondering if applying is worth it.

Stats:

4.0, sophomore, R1, ORM, biochem, bioinfo double major. Research in hs w paper (old lab) then undergrad research (current lab) since freshman fall to present, multiple posters+oral. President and VP of 2 orgs. Some institutional scholarships for research.
