Hi everyone,

I’m planning to build a tool for UPSC aspirants that would make Previous Year Questions much easier to use.

The idea is to have UPSC PYQs organized with proper topic-wise tags, so users can search questions by topics like Polity, Fundamental Rights, Parliament, Buddhism, Agriculture, Environment, etc. You would also be able to search using related keywords, not just exact chapter names.

For example, instead of flipping through a PYQ book, you could search “judicial review,” “tribal issues,” “monsoon,” or “Directive Principles” and instantly see relevant PYQs from previous years.

The goal is to help aspirants revise smarter, identify recurring themes, and connect PYQs with the syllabus more efficiently.

I wanted to ask the community honestly: would you be willing to pay for such a tool if it cost less than a standard UPSC Previous Year Questions book?

I’m not trying to sell anything right now. I just want to understand whether this would actually be useful for aspirants before building it seriously.

What features would make it worth paying for?

Some possible features:

Topic-wise PYQ search

Keyword-based search

Prelims and Mains PYQs

GS paper-wise filters

Year-wise filters

Subject-wise tags

Bookmarking important questions

Notes or explanations linked to questions

Would you personally pay for this if the pricing was affordable?

Please share honest feedback. Even criticism would be helpful.
