5'5, 140 ibs, no substance use ever, 19F, not been approved for any meds. I have been dealing with autoimmune symptoms for nearly 6 years that have limited my functional capacity and impaired my quality of life. I've had enough of doctors dismissing me, not allowing me to start treatment, and telling me I'm fine. One way or another, I'm starting some type of treatment this summer so that I can function a bit. I still have more testing to be soon, like a repeat comprehensive autoimmune panel, complete blood count, ADVISE CTD panel, and brain/spinal MRI. I have been reading on CAR-t cell therapy for over a year now and the reverberations it has had on people with autoimmune conditions. Once I get diagnosed, how difficult is it to be approved for the therapy? Does anyone know of any doctors or medical centers in the USA successfully getting their patients approved for it? If so, please let me know. It would be better if it was in Texas. I'm very zoned in, because this therapy is revolutionary, and 100% of patients exposed to it have reach remission in one year. Thanks.
