I have had mucus in my stool since November 2024 , since then I’ve been pregnant and had a healthy pregnancy but still had mucus in my stool and still do to this day. I went to the GI and they told me to have colonoscopy not because they’re worried of colon cancer but just to ease my mind. But I have two little ones and I’m scared I’m gonna be told the worst news ever. Even though it’s been nearly two years I’ve noticed mucus in most of my poops. I’m 24 so I know chances are low but then I heard a 30 year old near me passed away from stage 4 and didn’t know she had it until one night she had terrible pain but it was too late and had already went to her liver. I’m having trouble calling to book my colonoscopy even though I have the order to go ahead. I just want to see if anyone else has had literally just mucus in their stool that lead them to a colonoscopy and everything was okay! If you have scary stories keep them to yourself as I’m a hypochondriac !
