Hey everyone,
I'm looking for some insight or advice from anyone who has survived an accelerated EMT program, preferably any 10-week ones or similar. Im currently a pre-med student in Riverside for school, but I will be going back to the Bay Area for the summer and plan to enroll in BATA's 10-week program. Any information on BATA specifically would be helpful but I also have some specific questions that I would be grateful to know about:
The NREMT: Did the accelerated track make you feel like you were prepared well for the NREMT? Or did you need a lot of extra review time afterward?
Burnout: This 10-week course only meets up twice a week but I will be occupied with other things such as a job and 2 summer asynchronous/online courses for my school. Any tips on avoiding burnout while staying on top of the material?
And this other question might be pretty stupid, but if I were to get my training in the Bay Area as well as my Certification, is there anything stopping me from working in Riverside, or will I have to do some extra steps?
