I recently saw an item at a used book shop that the owner didn’t want to part with that I MUST find and had never seen before and can’t find any hint of it online.

It is a newspaper/magazine called BANANA. It may be issue 2. Yellow cover with a black and white photo of Paul, Linda and the Velvet Unsergdojnd/Warhol banana. Interview with Paul inside is promoting London Town.

This periodical was edited/published (?!) by Elliott Mintz of the Ono-Lennon circle and feels like an LA response to Interview magazine that never got off the ground.

This is *not* the 70s children’s magazine ‘Bananas’.

The bookseller knew he had some extremely rare. I know there’s no way any of us could be aware of every McCartney photoshoot, magazine cover, etc. but I have definitely never ever seen this before.

Anyone out there know what I’m talking about or have any leads!?!? I figured someone out here must have seen this thing or can tell me about it!
