I asked her if she was still down for the artshow this weekend, (the emergency was Tues). I had a feeling she would bail and I said to her I would not talk abt my Dad (wtf to me, because friendship should not be conditonal). Her response: "Not really no. Sorry! After hearing about what you and your family went through, my nervous system still feels activated. I feel for you all. Ironically, it's making me want to rest and do tons of self care." Btw, she's a psychiatrist...
