Fixing a Lyric mistake on Spotify
“My eyes have seen the glory” is supposed to be “Mine eyes have seen the glory”.
"Mine Eyes Have Seen the Glory" is the opening line of the "Battle Hymn of the Republic," a famous American Civil War song written by Julia Ward Howe in 1861, and you can audibly hear Morrissey saying “Mine eyes…”. I reported the issue and am hoping for a fix.
The agent was great btw, he said he did his part, hopefully they fix it to make it more authentic.
