I've recently been experimenting with leather straps for my SBGV207. I like the way they look compared to the metal straps and I can match them with outfits.

The lug width given is 19mm, but In the pictire I used a 20mm watch band on it by bending a pin.

Is it better to just use a 19mm watch band, or is it ok to use 20mm band bent to fit at the spring bars? So would it look better tapered, (20mm spring bar to 18m buckle) or better just to keep a constant thickness (20mm spring bar go 20mm buckle)

Also I was wondering if it's possible to replace the quick release bars with normal spring bars
