How is the Cartier Santos Large on ChinaTime tier?

I hears that they are thicker than the original or BVF version. Just curious if it is worth paying $200-$250 more for the BVF.

I am also curious about the bracelet quality as this price level watches can have rattling or sharp bracelets

I am looking for a U1 Supreme Submariner movement or condition doesn’t matter. I will be using it for parts. Before I get a new one just wanted to see what the community has to offer.
