I've been doing a lot of orders lately and every time I return to my civilian job I just feel a sort of sense that I'm just not doing very much when I'm there despite getting a lot of praise. When I'm in uniform there's far more days when I feel like I've actually contributed and done something to make things better. I've still got 3 years on my reserve contract before I could even think of going active and I'm an MST so they're not exactly hurting for them but I was curious if anyone has felt a similar disconnect.
