Hello! I'm a 2D game artist and I started creating characters for D&D :)
This is the character brief:
He's a Dwarf Tank who's basically a walking fortress. He's not here to dodge; he's here to soak up every hit the boss throws at the party.
The Vibe: Gritty, battle-worn, and intimidating.
The Gear: I want him in heavy plate armor, dark steel with some gold trim to make it pop. Let's add some mean-looking spikes on the shoulders and gauntlets to give him that aggressive "don't touch me" look.
The Face: Classic dwarf vibes—thick red beard with a big braid in the center.
The Weapon: He's carrying a brutal morningstar. Make it look used, like it's definitely cracked a few helmets.
The "Hero" Item: The Shield
This is the most important part of the piece. He carries a massive tower shield that's almost as big as he is.
The Carving: I want a huge, stoic face carved right into the front of the shield.
The Magic: Let's make the eyes of the carving glow with a pale, eerie light. It should look like the shield is alive or possessed by an ancestor spirit.
Background: Put him on a smoky battlefield. I want to see silhouettes of broken spears and flags in the mist behind him.
What do you think? Do you think I got the description right? Would you have liked to see something different? I'd love to know what you can add to improve this drawing :)
