








Hey guys, need some honest advice.
I’ve been dealing with early hair thinning for a few months now. It’s not completely bald or anything, but density has definitely reduced compared to before. I even compared photos from about 4 months back and there’s a noticeable difference.
I’m currently on treatment:
Minoxidil (topical daily + half tablet oral)
Finasteride (twice a week)
Multivitamin daily
Diet-wise I’ve improved a lot:
Eggs, milk, dry fruits (almonds, dates, makhana)
Trying to increase protein intake (also considering whey)
Still, I feel like something is off. Even my doctor mentioned there might be some “missing factor” affecting my hair but nothing clearly identified yet.
I’m wondering:
Could this be something internal like thyroid or vitamin deficiency?
Is finasteride twice a week too low?
Can supplements like creatine or whey affect hair loss?
Anyone experienced hair thinning even while on treatment?
Also thinking of using keratin hair fibers just for appearance—are they safe long term?
Would really appreciate if someone who went through something similar can guide me.
