Hi everyone! I just joined this community because of this vase I recently acquired on Facebook marketplace. I do not consider myself a glass collector but it really caught my eye. It’s petite (~8.5” tall) and the details are so impressive, I feel like the photos don’t do it justice.

Unfortunately, I know nothing about glass! Even though I’ve used the Corning museum website and others, I still can’t figure out if it is new, vintage, or old nor the techniques used to make it. There are a few sharp edges on the bottom so I’m not sure if there was some sort of pressed design or signature and it got damaged or if it’s always been that way. I’m guessing it was damaged because some of the indents on the bottom are not sharp. The photo with the flash at the end provides a good view of its shape and colors when not sitting in front of a light or window. I don’t know how the lavender color was made but it isn’t a coating and the inside seems to be the same though maybe slightly lighter. The glass is fairly thin and it doesn’t seem like there multiple layers. The applied red design is also glass.

Any information on how it was made, the term to describe its translucency, and/or guesses as to a possible maker or country would be much appreciated. Thank you!!
