Driving with children has always been chaos for us.
After an hour it starts:
"I'm bored"
quarrel
nervousness
On the last trip, I put together a couple of simple games on paper just for fun (like looking for things through the window, mini-challenges and the like).
Nothing special, but honestly — it really helped.
The kids were busy most of the time (several hours), and it was easier for us too.
