Hello Everyone,

I am planning to use my old PC as a server at home, I would like to run technitium as my dns server. I was wondering if it's possible to run it in the Freebsd.

Otherwise I might have to create a linux VM in Freebsd.

Thank you.

Hello Everyone,

I’ve been struggling to find the most productive way to track my tasks and notes for both work and my personal life.

Currently, I use Neovim for note-taking, document editing, and network configurations. I’m curious if Neovim (specifically version 0.12) is a viable tool for a more robust task management system. I prefer to avoid heavy plugins and am comfortable writing(thanks AI) my own configuration if necessary.

My specific requirements are:

  • Mobile Sync: It must stay synced with my Android and iPhone without using cloud products.
  • Contextual Tracking: I need to organize tasks by location, related persons, or topics.
  • Time Sensitivity: I need to track tasks by due dates, daily schedules, or recently added items.

I'm looking for recommendations on whether Neovim is convenient for this type of workflow and how you might suggest structuring it.

Hello Everyone,

I like wayland compositors over the DEs. I have tried many of them in the past, they are all good, but I ended up with labwc, because everything works out of the box. I think tiling is not that important to me at all. I almost always use my apps in full screen or in floating.

Everything works well, but I have a question. I beileve Zoom Workspace have multiple windows, even though I don't see them. I only see the main window in the meeting. But for instance when I am in the second desktop(workspace), I would see messages coming into it. It's very disturbing. Also when I try to put it in full screen, it sometimes doesn't work for zoom. i think it's related.

I honestly look for better configuration for zoom, so it behaves well. It's a bit unpredictable.

Thanks in advance.
