surprising results for an a2c addict - keeping this vague so lurkers don't find me

  • wGPA (UW/W): 4.37 W (school doesn't do UW but i had mostly A's, a good chunk of A-, and one B-)
  • Rank (or percentile): school doesn't do rank but likely around top 30% honestly my school is cracked
  • # of Honors/AP/IB/Dual Enrollment/etc.: 11 AP courses, 5 dual enrollment, 10+ honors

research mentor: 10/10 --> been in his lab for 3 years now, super super close

yale: the worst interview i've ever done. he hated me and i could tell from the moment i sat down. there was an orchestral concert going on behind us it felt like i was descending into hell.

georgetown: mid but i think he liked me

princeton: incredible - we went past the allotted time yapping and we had a connection

personal statement: talking about different objects/trash i collect in my junk journal relate to different moments in my life/relationships and how it connects to why i wanna study ai

supps: lots of stuff on combining cs and law, connecting it w pop culture and more vignettes of my life/school involvement (none of them were great but i poured SO MUCH time into them)

i'm so happy with my results and literally could not have asked for anything different. i was constantly comparing myself to others throughout hs but this whole process has made me realize (as cliche as it sounds) that you literally just need to have faith in yourself and put in the hours (i prob spent like 3 hours a day on my supps for a month).
