Hi everyone!

Me and my gf are going to visit your beautiful city from France mid May. I was wondering which was the best way from the airport to the city center. I've read some people saying that the bus might be unsafe (everyone has their own definition of unsafe) and that it might be better to use a taxi. Is the bus really that bad ? We use public transportation in Paris which overall is safe even though you can sometimes meet some strange people, so I do not expect Thessaloniki to be worse than that.

I will add that we'll arrive (and leave) in the early afternoon, and we're perfectly fine taking the bus because we're not in a hurry.
