I kept running into the same issues across projects:

– users dropping off at key steps
– onboarding feeling off
– not being sure which pattern to use

At first I thought these were all different problems.

But after a few projects, it started to feel… familiar.

Like I’d seen this before, just in slightly different forms.

I started writing them down and mapping them to patterns that usually help (reduce friction, progressive disclosure, etc.).

It’s been surprisingly useful — especially when I’m stuck and overthinking.
