Hi -
ETA thanks everyone. I'm probably thinking way too far ahead already. We'd like to stay in the area if possible. If anyone has opinions about Dana Farber (NCI certified), Beth Israel, Lahey Clinic (now part of BI), etc I'd like to hear them. Also just found out that Dana Farber has a new facility about 15 minutes from home in Methuen. I think I'd be OK with MGH.
I'm joining you because my husband probably has prostate cancer. No biopsies yet, but PS-RADS grade 4 from his MRI. He's seeing the urologist on Monday.
I'm mostly wondering about the various cancer clinics in the Boston area for second opinions/treatment because I know he doesn't want major surgery. I'd prefer to avoid anything in the Mass General Brigham system as I used to work there and things ended badly. We live north of Boston.
There's no good time to get this diagnosis, but we're also having marital problems and this is another complication. We have no intention to separate, but things are ouchy. We are both retired and in our early 60s.
